Google News Timeline

Google recently released a new resource called Google News Timeline, which allows one to graphically browse through a timeline of mainstream media headlines. It has not been listed in their collection of beta resources.

Events are listed chronologically with the most recent news first. It includes recent and historical news from both digital and scanned printed newspapers and magazines, blog posts, sports scores, and info about various types of media, like music albums and movies. One can drag the time line for better viewing, or use the search box for specific events.

This resource can also be integrated into personal web sites to provide the most current headline information online.
